BeautyADDICTS SHOWOFF Mascara: Review

Hello, all!

Today I'm here to tell you all about this little love of mine: the BeautyADDICTS SHOWOFF Mascara

First off I have to say that this is my all-time favorite mascara of all the ones I've ever tried - and trust me, I've tried plenty.

Being a girl with big eyes, naturally, that's often what I like to emphasize when I do my makeup. I'm also a huge fan of the "dolly eyes" look (think Zooey Deschanel), so I am constantly on the hunt for the best mascaras and eyeliners to help me achieve this look.

Somehow, despite having reasonably long eyelashes, they always rest relatively straight, and it's a constant challenge for me to curl them and have them stay put nicely all night without occasional touch-ups. That being said, I received this mascara in one of my GlossyBoxes in recent months past and absolutely fell in  love.

Upon first glance, the mascara's wand seemed intimidatingly large. However, once I tried it, that was no longer a concern. The size and shape of the wand really helped curl my lashes up and reach those corner lashes that I somehow always miss or mess up on when applying mascara or curling my lashes. The consistency of the mascara was pretty thick, and needn't really be built upon, which was quite a time and effort-saver (with one stroke I'd get more out of this mascara than I typically get with two or three coats of my Estée Lauder Sumptuous Mascara, though I do like that one, too). It wasn't clumpy, and it made my lashes look fantastically long and thick, and I loved it! It lasted me ages - literally some months - but unfortunately reached it's end recently, so I've been having to go back to my Sumptuous Mascara, which I received in my Man Repeller box a month or two back.

Needless to say, I'm definitely going to look into repurchasing this one.

I've also heard amazing things about Maybelline The Falsies and DiorSHOW Mascara, so I'll probably take those for a test run too.

Bye! x

It's The Little Things: Sephora

This blog post is of no major significance at all, but I really just wanted to express how much I love that Sephora gifts you a free compact mirror in some of their gift cards. This is from one I received for my birthday.

As a gift card hoarder, I waited from August until December to finally use this $50 one along with another $25 one I had previously received and purchased a limited edition Sephora Collection Izak Brush Set, the ever-popular Urban Decay Naked Palette, and the NARS Andy Warhol Collection Satellite of Love Blush because I simply had to have something off this collection, and a lot of beauty vloggers were raving about this product. Thank God for Cyber Monday discounts. I also ordered some free perfume samples that I had in store with my Sephora points.

Anyway, reviews on those products are forthcoming! So sorry for the severe delay; school is really kicking my butt this semester, but I hope to get those up soon as well as some other posts!

Bonsoir, kiddies! x
